Ted Newton and his family were the lucky winners of the £8million rollover on last Wednesday’s UK lottery and since news 0f their win spread,  the shop  in Fleetwood Parade, Dartford that sold them the winning ticket has enjoyed rocket sales as superstitious punters flock to see whether the good fortune will spread to them.

Customers have even been rubbing the lotto machine in the hope that good fortune will pay them a visit, and the shop has even dedicated a lucky spot for customers to stand in!

The Newton’s won the cash haul after buying a lucky dip ticket and are now planning to spend some of the cash on a trip to see the Northern Lights and a new car.
