The Bulgarian Lottery has been in the spotlight for the past couple of weeks after the same numbers were drawn just a
few days apart, such an unlikely event brought massive media attention and a call for investigation into how this could have happened.
The investigation has now taken place and the panel have come to the conclusion that it was just a fluke, the machine and the balls were looked at but no problems were found, so any foul play has been ruled out.
The numbers drawn were 4, 15. 23, 24, 35 and 42, and although drawn in a totally different order they came up first in the Wednesday draw and then again in the Saturday draw!
The chances of this happening are 1 in 4 million, an unlikely event but it just goes to show that no matter what the odds, unlikely events can and do happen!
It really can pay to join a syndicate when playing the lottery as nine regulars at the Doon Inn South Lanarkshire
Scotland, found out on Saturday when their numbers came up to win £4.5 million on the UK lotto. Each member will pick up a cool £500,000 after matching all six numbers.
In 2000 and just 17 miles away from the Doon Inn, six butcher shop workers won an incredible £20 million on the superdraw, making this win the second biggest syndicate win in Scotland.
The winners are keeping a low profile at the moment but it is understood that a big party was thrown at the pub after the win, they will be collecting their cheque at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday.
Lottosgalore are happy to announce we have teamed up with the Lottery Shop to bring you what we consider to be the
biggest, best and richest lottery in the world, the Spanish El Gordo.
Although there are other smaller El Gordo draws throughout the year the one you will have heard about the most is the Christmas draw which 98% of Spain’s population enter, but it is not just open to residents of Spain, any one can play here online for the 2009 draw on 22nd December.
A whacking great big US$3.47 Billion is up for grabs with a superb 1 in 6 chance of winning a prize, infact there are over 13,334 prizes to be given away, no wonder the draw takes 3 hours to complete.
Ticket prices are a tad expensive but most people buy a share in one thus sharing any winnings, or why not get your own syndicate going in time for this years draw? Or maybe buy shares in tickets as Christmas presents?
All transactions are easy, fast and secure and you are guaranteed to keep all your winnings 100% , what better way would there be to start the New Year than with an El Gordo win!
The New Zealand Powerball lotto is on target for a new jackpot record, no one won the draw last night leaving a
massive jackpot of $22 million for the next draw on 3rd October.
Only once before has the jackpot entered the mid twenty million dollar mark and that was back in 2008 when it reached $24 million before going on to $30 million in a must be won draw that saw 5 very lucky players share the jackpot.
Ticket sales hotted up last week so retailers are expecting bumper sales once again as Saturday approaches, to win the jackpot you have to match 6 numbers drawn from a drum of 40 and the powerball which is drawn from a drum of 10. Prize divisions go down a very nice 12 levels so plenty of chances of a prize even if you don’t hit it big.
Remember you don’t have to be resident in New Zealand the play, it is perfectly legal to play here online at the Lotter, just open an account and buy your ticket, it really is that simple !

Two of America’s most popular lotteries have been rolling over for quite a few weeks now giving a combined jackpot of
over $200 million. Always a hot time for ticket sales so don’t delay buy yours today!
Powerball Lottery – US $150 Million
The biggest jackpot of the two, the Powerball is next drawn on Saturday 26th September, match 5 numbers from 59 from the main drum and the Powerball number from a drum of 39 to win the jackpot. Prizes go down 9 levels with the odds of winning at the last level being 1 in 62.
Mega Millions – US $75 Million
Slightly smaller jackpot than the Powerball but I wouldn’t be complaining, the next draw is on 25th September so you need to be quick for this one. You need to match 5 numbers out of 56 and the Mega Ball drawn from a drum of 46 to win the jackpot. Prizes go down 9 levels with the odds of winning a prize at the last level being 1 in 75.
All you have to do now is decide which to play unless you are planning to push the boat out and play both of course.
A lottery player was on holiday with her husband when she realised she had not bought her lottery tickets for the
September 12th $20 million lotto superdraw.
So as not to miss out she sent a text to her sister asking her to buy the ticket for her, and yes you guessed it, when her sister checked the numbers a few days later she found the ticket was a $2.5 million winner.
Keeping the news to herself she met her sister at the airport and took her to the lottery headquarters where she broke the news, after recovering from the initial shock the winner says she will be sharing the winnings with her sister.

I have been watching the German Lotto, the last time the jackpot was won was August the 8th, that means the lotto will
be on for 13 rollovers tonight for a jackpot of around €30 million. To win the jackpot you have to match all 6 numbers and the extra number, however once the jackpot has rolled 13 times the rules change.
Once the thirteenth draw has gone by without a jackpot winner the jackpot fund is shared, so all those who can match just the 6 main numbers will get a share of the jackpot, so keep a look out for tonights result and if the jackpot does not get won it has got to be worth a go for the next draw on Saturday 26th September, when the rules will change.
A man from Perth has won $4 million on the lotto after the winning ticket was bought for him as a gift for his 50th
birthday by his partners father.
Having never been one to play the lottery himself he was not in any rush to check the numbers, infact he almost didn’t bother until he got a phone call from the person who bought him the ticket to say the shop where it was bought was where the winning ticket was sold.
Early retirement is now on the cards and plenty of travel including a trip to the UK to attend his daughters wedding, the unnamed man has also plans for his own wedding, he has a long term partner of ten years but up until now they have been unable to afford to tie the knot.
If you are struggling for gift ideas, lottery tickets make a great present, even better if they are winners of course!
Well it wasn’t my turn yet again but a massive congratulations to the fifteeen friends who scooped the special
EuroMillions jackpot on Friday.
They come from Venelles, a quiet village in France that is home to 8,000 people, the Mayor Jean-Pierre Saez has said the whole village is briming with excitement and the winners are the type of people who get up early and work hard, he would not for obvious resaons divulge any of the winners by name.
They share €100 million which is the largest EuroMillions lottery prize ever won in France.
EuroMillions is looking for new winners this Friday with a jackpot of €15,000,000 - Click here to play!
