A Limpopo man won the lottery 7 years ago when he collected a cool R11million for matching all six numbers and now the multi millionaire has gone and done it again!

He has become the first winner of the Lotto’s new PowerBall and will be topping up his bank with a massive R30million after spending just R7 on a quick pick ticket.

Some of the money it seems is going to go to good causes after he spoke about using some of it to start a  property buisness to help the homeless, he is a father of 4 children and half of his fortune is to be set aside for his childrens future.

The Irish Lotto was the focus of many a lottery player over the weekend and with a €8.5 million jackpot up for grabs ticket sales were brisk.

First reports suggest that the jackpot has been won by a syndicate of up to 20 members who bought a €20 quick pick ticket.

It is believed that the group all work together in Dublin near where the ticket was bought and that one member had only just joined the syndicate a couple of weeks ago.

The actual identities of the winners have yet to be revealed, the shop keeper who sold the ticket says she hasn’t a clue who they are but would hope they are part of the local community. This is the shops first ever big winner in the two and a half years they have been selling tickets.

Second prize is awarded for matching 6 +1 while other prizes are given for matching 6, 5 and 4 numbers. If no one wins the jackpot tonight then next week will see it rise to a cool €9,000,000.
