I cannot understand how people can play the lottery and forget to check their tickets, the UK National Lottery website has a full list of unclaimed prizes, some of which are due to expire very soon and if they are not claimed the money will go to good causes and that does not mean you!

So if you are one of these people and have a ticket you have yet to check, them get a move on, the clock is ticking and once the day has gone it has gone, the celebrations will be short lived and back to work you go!

• Due to expire on the 28th January is a prize of £128,478 for the Lotto draw on the 1st August the numbers are 2,6,27,28,40,49 and the bonus ball is 14.
• Due to expire on the 4th February is a prize of £105,064 for the Lotto draw on the 8th August the numbers are 9,17,26,32,33,36 and the bonus ball is 6.
• Due to expire on the 8th February is a prize of £80,399 for the Lotto draw on the 12th August the numbers are 9,20,21,27,39,40 and the bonus ball is 14.

So there you are, the next three big  prizes which are going to expire so if you have a ticket that needs checking and you haven’t yet done so, go and dig it out and do it now, unless of course you are that rich already that you really don’t mind losing it!
