About Mega Millions 
Mega Millions is the Powerballs biggest rival, it started off it’s life as the Big Game but became known as Mega Millions in 2002. Twelve States participate in what has become the biggest jackpot game in America.

Odds and Overview
To win the jackpot you have to match all the numbers from the balls numbered 1 to 56 and also the Mega Ball which is gold and the chances of doing this come in at 1 in 1.175 million. The odds of course tumble down and at the last level your chances are a realistic 1 in 75. This is actually better than the Powerball so if you are torn between the two perhaps that will sway your choice.
